Cooking Steps
In a medium size bowl, add the ground chicken, salt and pepper, plus half of the seasoned flour mixture.
Gently mix the ingredients until it is incorporated.
Form the mixture into 4 patties, then place them on a plate and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
This will help the patties hold together during cooking.
In this step, the patties will be coated with more seasoning mix before cooking.
In a small bowl, mix the remaining seasoned flour mixture with 1 Tbsp cornstarch.
In a deep-frying pan, heat the oil to 325 degrees.
Place each patty in the flour mixture to coat on both sides and add them to the hot oil.
Cook for 7 minutes on each side.
Continue to cook until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
Once they are done, place them on a rack over paper towels to rest for 5 minutes.
Serve with buns, condiments and fixings.
